Start with the exact game identity
The phrase imperial scatter does not supply a complete paytable. Before comparing features, record the game’s full title and developer as shown in the game itself. If a version or rules date is visible, note it as well.

Read the base of a multiplier
In a fictional example, a 5-times multiplier applied to a 2-credit win gives 10 credits. A separate “5 times total bet” prize uses the total stake as its base instead. Those descriptions can produce different amounts.
Write down the full sentence from the rules rather than just the largest number. If two descriptions seem inconsistent, ask the operator to explain the calculation before using the feature. Do not increase the stake simply to test an unclear rule.
What RTP can and cannot tell you
Return to player is an average over a large amount of play. A hypothetical 96% figure does not promise that you will receive 96 credits from your own 100-credit session. Individual sessions can differ substantially from the average.

Use the comparison to understand the game
